Industrial atmosphere born of a bygone history

The historic building of the former laundry at Trnavské Mýto dates back to 1909. It stands on a boundary area where, since the 19th century, the city met its industrial outskirts. The building recalls a time when Bratislava, thanks to its textile industry, was to Austria-Hungary what Manchester was to England. The magnificent industrial atmosphere among its columns endures to this day.

Reconstruction of a cultural heritage monument

The building is so valuable that it now enjoys heritage protection, and its reconstruction is being approached with the utmost sensitivity and care. The beautiful atrium, flooded with light streaming through the glass roof, will be preserved and restored. The perfection of the reconstruction will be ensured by the experienced architects Beňuška Topinka, renowned for the timelessness of their designs.

Stunning New York–style living

The completed development will offer a unique living experience inspired by New York’s Tribeca neighborhood—a place beloved by American celebrities. A place where historic buildings once serving the textile industry have been transformed into distinctive industrial-style homes. At the same time, it is a space that—just like in New York—astonishes with its diversity of heights and volumes. Together, it all perfectly engages and delights the senses.

Feel freedom and inspiration

Danubius Lofts—it's hard to find a home in Bratislava that offers more inspiration, space, and freedom. High ceilings, raw concrete columns, exposed technologies. Metal, concrete, an open-plan interior with a built-in mezzanine gallery. A place tailor-made for anyone who doesn’t want to live like everyone else. For anyone who loves space for creativity and free-spirited living. We would like to give future owners the room to shape their own vision of design, fit-out, and the atmosphere they want in their home. Architects and designers are therefore welcome, and the Danubius Lofts architects—Beňuška Topinka—are also available, ready to sensitively build on the style of the entire building.
